Lincoln, NE - 2/1/2019 -While working out Tim Houlihan stops and poses for a portrait on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at the downtown YMCA. Houlihan was severely injured after a tree limb fell on him. As an fitness fanatic, not being able to workout was extremely hard on him during his recovery process. Houlihan now works out several times a week and is well on his way to meeting his pre-injury workout routine of swimming 2 miles everyday.

A neurologist watches the screen as she performs a brain mapping surgery on a pediatric patient suffering from severe seizures. During the procedure the brain is exposed and a thin plastic map with hundreds of numbers are placed directly on the brain. The patient will remain in an induced coma for several days where brain activity will be monitored. As the patient experiences seizures, data will be collected from the brain map which will allows the surgeon to go back in and repair the spots in the brain that are causing the seizures.
